With over 25 years of experience in education, I have dedicated my career to shaping young minds and advocating tirelessly for teachers, students, and the future of public education. From the very beginning, I have been a proud and active member of the Memphis-Shelby County Education Association (M-SCEA), committed to advancing teacher rights, improving working conditions, and strengthening our schools.

I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Memphis and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Freed-Hardeman University. I am also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., an organization that exemplifies the values of sisterhood, scholarship, and service—principles that are deeply aligned with my personal and professional mission.

Throughout my leadership journey with M-SCEA, I have served in several key roles, including:

· Member of the PECCA Bargaining Committee

· Former Chairperson of the MSCEA PACE Council

· Treasurer of M-SCEA, ensuring financial health and accountability

Now, as the newly elected President of M-SCEA, I bring passion, purpose, and a proven track record of leadership to serve and empower our membership.
