Rosemary Winters

Board of Directors Elementary School Director

Rosemary Winters is an Elementary School Director on the M-SCEA Board of Directors, and her leadership, advocacy, and networking abilities serve her well in that capacity. She is a special education teacher at Downtown Elementary School with over 15 years teaching experience. Rosemary earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology/Counseling from Bethune-Cookman College in Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1993. In 2002, she received endorsement in special education in comprehensive and modified areas. In addition to serving as board member, Rosemary serves as the association representative for her school, and on numerous committees, including the PTA Board of Managers, PBIS Team, and Decision Making Council. Rosemary also serves as Vice Chair for the Memphis-Shelby County Political Action Committee for Education.
