Raquel Williams is a classroom teacher employed with the district since 1999. She teaches in the Language Arts department at Ridgeway High School. Raquel is also a business owner whose mantra is: “Pursue your dreams today; have no regrets tomorrow!
Joyce Mason is a Mathematics teacher at Cordova High and has been a member of the Association throughout her teaching career. She received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science and Secondary Education from Lane College in Jackson, Tennessee. She earned a Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision from Trevecca Nazarene University and +45 from Cumberland University. For many years, Joyce has galvanized educators to attend Board of Education meetings. Her goal as an M-SCEA Board member is to be an advocate for fellow educators and students.
Charlotte Fields teaches 7th grade at Treadwell Middle School. She has taught for 20 plus years and has been a member of the Association from the beginning of her teaching career. Charlotte earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and Finance from the University of Memphis, and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Freed-Hardeman University. She is an active member of the Memphis-Shelby County Political Action Committee for Education (PACE) and serves on the association's PECCA Committee, advocating for the interests of educator. With the resilience and resourcefulness attained during her career in education, Charlotte has developed an outstanding ability to empower both teachers and students.
