Gloria Williams is a 36-year educator with 25 years at Snowden School teaching 8th grade Physical Science. In addition to serving on the board, Gloria is an association representative for her school and a member of the Memphis-Shelby County Political Action Committee for Education. She has served on numerous Association committees and participated on the Collaborative Conferencing Team that negotiated the current Agreement between M-SCEA and Shelby County Schools of which she is a signatory. She holds membership in the National Council of Negro Women, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, and Silhouettes of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. Gloria is also a member of Brown Baptist Church. One of her favorite quotes is: “Teachers affect eternity; no one can tell where their influence stops.”
