(New Educator Support Training)

“Helping new educators soar!”

Annually, new educators are metaphorically thrown out of the district’s “nest” of available applicants without benefit of previous training or support. In essence, they are expected to soar with very little or no support. NEST is the latest effort by the association to reach out to educators with 0-2 years of classroom experience to provide continuous support throughout the 2018-19 school year.

Topics to be covered include but are not limited to:

Classroom Management

Data Utilization

Teaching Strategies

Community Involvement

Networking Opportunities

The inaugural meeting will be this Thursday, August 23, 2018, at the M-SCEA building, 3:00 p.m.

Please register, M. Raquel Williams at Raquiwms1@yahoo.com or  (901) 212-5069  by Thursday morning.
